Scott Parker is a native of Laguna Niguel, California and is currently attending the University of San Francisco.
He went to Dana Hills High School and had a strong varsity tenure. Over two seasons there, Parker compiled a 1.53 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 18.1 innings pitched.
He committed to play at the University of San Francisco and chose to redshirt his freshman season in 2015. Over the 2016 and 2017 seasons, Parker compiled a 6-2 record with a 3.80 ERA and 35 strikeouts over 47.1 innings pitched.
In the 2017 season with the Sweets, Parker finished with a 3-4 record and a 5.05 ERA with 49 strikeouts in 51.2 innings.
