Stiveson, a freshman infielder from Redondo Beach, California, attends Stanford University. A right-handed hitter, he primarily plays second and third base, limiting his errors to single digits during his time at Redondo Union High School. Stiveson credits his father for his early passion for baseball. Stiveson's father played Division I baseball at Pepperdine before being drafted by the Montreal Expos.
