Bio: Chris Lincoln is a native of Moreno Valley, California and is currently attending the University of California, Santa Barbara.
He went to Rancho Verde High School where he had an outstanding career. He played varsity for three seasons and compiled a 2.92 ERA with 181 strikeouts in 189.2 innings pitched. Following his senior year, he was selected in the 13th round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays but opted to continue his playing career collegiately.
In his first year with UCSB, Lincoln finished the season with a 4.82 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 28 innings.
He has made tremendous strides so far in his sophomore campaign and currently has a 2.15 ERA with 27 strikeouts through 29.1 innings pitched.
With the Walla Walla Sweets in the summer of 2017, Lincoln had a 1-1 record with a 4.05 ERA, 36 striekouts over 33.1 innings and was named to the WCL All-Star team. After the season, he was tabbed the top prospect in the WCL by Baseball America.
