Before Utah Valley... Prepped at Gila Ridge HS in Yuma, Ariz. ... recorded a .320 high school batting average with 28 runs scored, 16 RBIs, and a .371 on-base percentage ... helped his team reach the elite eight at the state tournament ... played for Greg Osowski in high school ... also played football, basketball, and golf at Gila Ridge.

Other Colleges...  Spent the 2019 and 2020 seasons at Chandler-Gilbert CC ... had four starts for the Coyotes in the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign and struck out 15 in 18.2 innings ... also posted a 6.75 ERA that season ... during his freshman year in 2019, he had six appearances on the mound and struck out a pair in 5.2 innings ... he then transferred to Hawaii Hilo for the 2021 season and he posted one of the top ERAs for the Vulcans during the limited season (due to COVID) with a 2.61 ERA ... he also struck out 16 in 10.1 innings while limiting opponents to a .200 batting average.
