A’s vs. Rays Series To Be Held At Borleske Stadium

Sweets Welcome Two Historic MLB Teams For A Series in 2025

Walla Walla, Washington – Major League Baseball and the Walla Walla Sweets have come to an agreement to host the June 30 through July 2 series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Athletics. This game will be played in Walla Walla due to a scheduling conflict at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, which was where the games were initially supposed to take place.

With the Sweets on the road for those days, Borleske Stadium will play host to two Major League clubs for the first time in its history. Borleske Stadium is no stranger to having some current MLB stars play here in years past, including Sweets alum Jarren Duran of the Boston Red Sox and Garrett Mitchell of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Sweets currently have six former players on Major League rosters (two of which started the season on the injured list).

The Tampa Bay Rays will be playing their home games at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida in 2025 while repairs are made on Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, after it was damaged by Hurricane Milton in November. The previously named Oakland A’s will be playing their 2025 home games at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento, California while they wait for a permanent residence to be built in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the June 30-July 2 series of the Rays vs. Athletics are now available for purchase at the following link.
