When asked about what the Sweets history means to him, General Manager, Cody Miller said “The Sweets moniker will always hold a special place in Walla Walla baseball history, but we are excited to enter a new era with the Wheat Fielders. The new team, exemplifies our great, hard working community, and the importance of the agriculture industry to our community and Eastern Washington as a whole.”
Miller added, “[w]e look forward to seeing everyone for our home opener on June 9, and we wish you a happy April Fools Day.”
