Three CBC Hawks Head to Walla Walla for 2023 Summer

Jaxon Henderson, Dylan Berry, and Cameron Soliz have been announced for the 2023 season.

WALLA WALLA, Wash– Three Columbia Basin College Hawks will join Sweets Country this year as Jaxon Henderson, Dylan Berry, and Cameron Soliz have been announced for the 2023 season.

Henderson, a sophomore right-handed pitcher for CBC, has made 5 appearances with 21.1 innings of work posting, a 5.48 ERA. Henderson most recently put up a career-best outing vs. Big Bend going 6.1 innings, giving up only 1 hit and no earned run in the win for the Hawks. Last season, Henderson saw action in the field in 29 games with 17 starts batting .210 with 7 RBIs and a 1.54 ERA on the hill. Henderson hails from Snohomish, WA where he attended Glacier Peak High School prior to joining CBC.

Berry joins the Sweets by way of the Tri-Cities coming to CBC from Southridge HS in nearby Kennewick, WA. Berry has had an impressive start to the year at CBC, putting up a 1.24 ERA in 29 innings of work. In only his second appearance of the year vs. Centralia, Berry would post 10 strikeouts in 6 innings of work, allowing only 4 hits and no earned runs.

Soliz rounds out the impressive CBC pitchers joining the Sweets, as he leads the Hawks in ERA, with a 0.28 ERA in five starts and a 4-0 record during that time. Soliz comes by way of the Lone Star state and Kyle, TX, where he attended Lehman HS. Solis has easily been one of the top arms in the NWAC, as he sits second in the conference in ERA (0.28), Strikeouts (34), and first in wins with 4. Most recently, Soliz pitched 6.2 innings vs. Everett, allowing only four hits and no earned runs with 6 strikeouts in the win for the Hawks.
