WALLA WALLA, Wash- The Walla Walla Sweets were able to pick up the victory over the CCL to round out their homestand on the Fourth of July. Sweets still remain perfect in non-league play

The day started off well as Walla Walla would get offense early scoring three runs in the 2nd inning. In the 2nd Kai Osaka would help score two runs by way of a few throwing errors scoring Jordan Andrade and Joey Craig. Will Fuenning would ground out but score Kai Osaka to extend the lead for Walla Walla and start and impressive day for Fuenning.

Fuenning’s impressive day would be highlighted in the fourth inning where Fuenning would get home run number two on the year (not in WCL play) to extend the lead to 5-0.

The Sweets would get into trouble in the ninth as AC Plum would load the bases and allow four runs to score. Malcolm Williams would see one go by, but Leo Rivera would come in to replace Williams and would get the final out the Sweets needed.
