Hom is joining Walla Walla as a junior from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Hom transferred there from Ohlone College, having originally been from San Jose, California.

This season with the Islanders, Hom has started 11 games and already has two multi-hit games on the season. In the field, Hom has a fielding percentage of .982, with just one blemish on 56 chances in the infield so far.

This will not be Hom’s first season in summer ball. In 2022, he played for the Western Nebraska Pioneers, then out of the Independence League. Hom played 29 games and collected 25 hits, five of them going for doubles. Defensively, he split his time between second and third bases with the Pioneers. Hom took a summer off in 2023 and is now back to join to the West Coast League and the Sweets in 2024.
