Bio: Stephanie Mayer is from #SweetsCountry, Wenatchee, Washington to be exact. She serves as the controller for both the Walla Walla Sweets and the Yakima Valley Pippins. This will be her eighth year with the Sweets after starting out as the official scorekeeper for the team and working in various positions ever since. Mayer has been volunteering with various sports organizations through the years including currently serving as the official bookkeeper for Whitman College Baseball, working the 30-second clock at Walla Walla High School girls basketball games, and officiating high school volleyball. In 2016, she was named the Washington Officials Association Official of the Year for volleyball. Stephanie graduated from Eastern Washington (’75) with a degree in accounting. She has been married to her husband, Mark, for 42 years and has two sons and four grandchildren.
