Prescott, who is playing for WWCC this spring, is a freshman from Eugene, Oregon. Prescott, who is listed as a utility player for the Warriors, will join the Sweets’ pitching staff. He has not thrown a game yet for WWCC, but has batted in one game, going 1-for-3 with two walks to score two runs.

In his senior year of high school, Prescott pitched in two games, tossing 9.1 innings and striking out 16 batters for an average of just a little under two strikeouts an inning.

This season with the Sweets will be Prescott’s first year in summer collegiate ball.
