Hohenstein just finished his second season at Colorado Mesa. The righty started 10 games in 2024 and made three more appearances out of the bullpen. He posted a 7-1 record with an 8.22 ERA. He struck out 47 batters in 53.2 innings. Hohenstein's best start with the Mavericks was his final start of the season. He tossed a complete nine-inning game and only allowed one run off five hits while striking out nine batters.

Hohenstein committed to Colorado Mesa after graduating high school from Rock Canyon. He chose CMU for the proximity to his home in Castle Rock, Colorado, and the beautiful campus.

2024 will be his first season in summer ball.
