Joseph Zimmer is from Billings, Montana and is currently attending Whitman College.
He went to Billings Senior High School and was an exceptional three-sport athlete while there playing baseball, football and basketball. Over his four years with the varsity baseball team, Zimmer compiled a .378 batting average, 57 doubles, 196 runs scored and 136 RBI. His senior year, he was selected to the Great Falls Tribune 2013 Super-State Team.
Zimmer has played his entire collegiate career with Whitman College and has been one of the team's best players every year. Over his first three seasons with the Blues, he racked up a .382 batting average, 11 homeruns, 28 doubles, 76 runs scored and 62 RBI. In 2016, he was named to the All-NWC first team.
Currently amid his senior year at Whitman, Zimmer has a .333 batting average with eight homeruns, 36 runs and 20 RBI.
With the Sweets in 2017, Zimmer had a homerun, four runs and six RBI.
