Suddleson grew up in Pacific Palisades, California, and went to Harvard-Westlake School. He was a three-year letter winner for baseball and his senior year was named 2nd Team All-California, 1st Team All-Mission League, 1st Team All-CIF Southern, and was also an LA Daily News All-Area selection.
Currently attending Harvard University, Suddleson put together a solid freshman campaign in 2017. He finished the year with a .219 batting average, two homeruns, three doubles, and 11 RBI.
Suddleson is back for his second year with the Walla Walla Sweets and said that he chose to return because of his love for the town, the people, and how fantastic his host family was. His first year with the Sweets, the power-hitting outfielder posted a .295 average with six homeruns, 12 doubles, and 39 RBI.
Jake is studying economics at Harvard because it is a versatile opportunity, and he is still undecided on what degree he ultimately wants to pursue. After baseball, he plans to work in entertainment on either the creative or business side. He is the son of Anna and Eric Suddleson and has a sister, Olivia, and a brother, Joe.
