Jake pitched in four games for the University of Utah this past spring. He suited up for the Pacific-12 Conference school after completing four letter-winning seasons at Garland, Utah's Bear River High School.  Achieved acclaim included being named the Standard Examiner publication's Athlete of the Year, first team all-state, and Region 9 Most Valuable Player. Dahle threw 52.2 innings his senior year, won six of nine decisions, fashioned a 1.73 earned run average, and sported a strikeout-to-walk ratio that exceeded 6.5-1 (79 K's, 12 BB's). Away from the diamond, he was a member of both the National Honors Society and Key Club, and competed in basketball.
