At Phoenix- Posted a sub 4.00 ERA in over 20 IP with the Bears in 2023. Hayashi came in relief striking out 2 batters vs the reigning NJCAA National Champion, Central Arizona.

Walla Walla 2023- Made 8 starts in 11 App finishing with a 4-3 rec and 5.11 ERA. His best start was June 25, in the Sweets 10-3 win over the Yakima Valley Pippins in the Battle of the Basin. Hayashi tossed six innings, allowed one unearned run on two hits and struck out five batters.
