Sinatro is a native of Sammamish, Washington where he went to Skyline High School and was an exceptional athlete. He was a three-year letter winner in football, named 4A 1st Team All-State Defensive Back his senior year, and helped lead his team to the 4A State Championship Game.
He was also a three-year letter winner in baseball, a two-year team captain, earned 4A 1st Team All-State honors and his team won the 4A State Championship his senior year. In 2015, Sinatro played in the Area Code Games for the Kansas City Royals and was drafted out of high school in the 40th-round by the Cleveland Indians.
In his first year at Washington State University, Sinatro finished the campaign with a .224 average, 10 RBI, and a .986 fielding percentage.
Sinatro is back for his second season with the Sweets and decided to come back because he loved his first year in Walla Wall and said there is no place like it. He is most looking forward to another shot at a postseason run in the summer of 2018. Last year, Sinatro finished his Sweets’ season with a .297 batting average, 23 runs scored, two triples, 13 walks, and 11 stolen bases.
Danny is pursuing a degree in marketing and sales at Washington State, but plans to play baseball as long as he can. He is the son of Elizabeth and Matt Sinatro.
Matt played ten seasons in the Major Leagues with four different teams and later became the bullpen coach for the Seattle Mariners under Lou Pinella. Elizabeth was a gymnast at Cornell. Danny has two brothers, Jimmy, who played baseball at Gonzaga, and Matt Jr., who played baseball at the University of San Francisco.
