Harrison was named to the league's first team and the Cowboys' most valuable player during his junior season. He posted a 3.56 earned run average, struck out 72 in 63 innings pitched, and hit .322 - 27 hits in 87 at-bats - with 16 runs batted in for the Canyon Country-based school. Opponents hit just .280 against him. Charles had two games during the 2018 campaign in which he struck out 10 hitters - in a 5-4 victory over Golden Valley and a 4-3 loss to Rialto.

"I'm looking forward to playing with the Sweets this summer against great competition," Harrison said.

Harrison, the son of Beth and Charles Harrison, listed steak, pasta, and pizza as his favorite foods. He dislikes squid and mashed potatoes, and said he can't do without WiFi.

Since the age of four, his favorite baseball team has been the Boston Red Sox.  He enjoys the Star Wars and Marvel movies.  Charles is excited to spend his summer playing with the Sweets and looking forward to becoming a UCLA Bruin.
