Sweets Drop Game Three vs Corvallis
WALLA WALLA, WA- The Walla Walla Sweets fought hard however Corvallis was able to extend and set a new league best win streak of 12 straight defeating the Sweets 5-4. With the loss, the Sweets move to 14-27 overall and 4-10 in the second half.
The Knight kicked off the ball game with a Tyler Quinn solo home-run however the Sweets would fire back moments later. Ben Parker worked in the bottom of the second with a pair on and drove both Vicente Feliciano and Logan Meyer in a a base hit to the second baseman giving Walla Walla a 2-1 lead after two.

Corvallis then tied up the ball game in the top of the third where both teams stayed until the sixth where both sides drove in runs. Carter Booth got his first RBI with Walla Walla driving in Feliciano to tie the game at 3 after the inning.

Corvallis answered with two-runs in the top of the seventh taking a 5-3 lead.
The Sweets found a response as Kevin Spear scored on a wild pitch to cut the lead to one going into the ninth. However both teams went scoreless and Corvallis would secure their 12th straight WCL win.
