WALLA WALLA, WA – The West Coast League today announced the All – WCL team selections for the 2022 summer season, with pitcher Nick Wilson being named as an honorable mention.

Wilson joined the Sweets by way of Southern University in Louisiana. This past season with the Sweets Wilson finished with a 2-0 record, 1.45 ERA (second best among starters), and 26 strikeouts in nine games and five starts.

“I’d like to thank god, my family, my host family, teammates, coaches, and all of Sweets Country for an amazing experience.” said Wilson “I am truly blessed for the opportunity and I’m glad that I was able to take full advantage of the chance I was given.”

Wilson joined the Sweets working this past season as a relief pitcher at Southern. With the Jags Wilson pitched 33.2 innings and finished with a 7.49 ERA. However since joining the Sweets has developed into a true ace becoming one of the Sweets most impressive pitchers in a loaded group of starters.
