About the Port Angeles Lefties:

The Port Angeles Lefties began play in 2017, after relocating up the peninsula from Kitsap County, where they had played since 2005 (in Bremerton) as the Kitsap Bluejackets.

Team managing partner Matt Acker was the on-field manager of the Bluejackets for seven seasons.

The Lefties had a successful launch as a relocated team, jumping up to the top third in the West Coast League in attendance after dwelling near or at the bottom in Kitsap.
