Jarrod Molnaa

Head Coach

Alma Mater: Montana State University Billings, BS
Experience: 4 years

Molnaa’s return marks the first season since 2019 that the Sweets have had the same manager from the previous year.

In his first season as skipper, the Sweets had one of their more impressive seasons offensively under Molnaa. Walla Walla finished fourth in hits and sixth in runs scored in the West Coast League. The Sweets also hit .261, which was the best team batting average in six years.

Molnaa also had five players under his tutelage receive postseason honors as they were named to the WCL All-League teams.

Following the 2023 Sweets campaign, Molnaa returned to Walla Walla Community College for his third  and second full season as head coach of the Warriors. WWCC will begin their 2024 season in February.

Prior to coaching the Sweets or the Warriors, Molnaa led the Spearfish Sasquatch in the wood-bat Independence Baseball League to their best season ever in 2021. The Sasquatch won 46 games and their first ever division championship.

Molnaa’s first coaching job was at Montana State University-Billings as an assistant coach after graduating from MSUB with a degree in Business administration. In his senior year with the Yellow Jackets, Molnaa, a starting pitcher, posted an 8-3 record and helped MSUB claim their fourth regular season title and their first ever Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship.

Molnaa had two stops in his collegiate career before getting to MSUB, pitching one season with the NAIA Bellevue Bruins and starting his journey at WWCC. While a pitcher for the Warriors, Molnaa received two All-Region selections
