Anthony Villegas is a native of Rialto, California and is currently attending Biola University.
He went to Carter High School and was a two-time All-League recipient with the Lions. Over three varsity seasons, he compiled 16 wins and 136 strikeouts with a 2.87 ERA.
Currently amidst his freshman season at Biola, Villegas has six strikeouts over 6.2 innings pitched with a 5.40 ERA.
"I chose Biola because it's a great school that has allowed me to play baseball and further my relationship with God," Villegas said.
With the Sweets in the summer of 2017, Villegas had four strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work.
