| November 7, 2010 Sweets Win Best Marketing Campaign at SBC '10 MADISON, WI. – On November 12, 2009, 450 elementary school children in Walla Walla helped usher in the return of baseball to the Blue Mountain Region. On November 7, 2010, The Walla Walla Sweets of the West Coast League were recognized by the Summer Baseball Conference 2010 for their inaugural season. Stewart, the only Sweet to be named to the list in the team's inaugural season, comes in at 17th, the 2nd highest rated pure catcher on the list behind the overal #3 prospect, Chase Anselment of Kitsap. | August 26, 2010 Sweets Lead WCL in 2010 Attendance, Rank 23rd in Nation Despite the 2010 season being the club's inaugural season, the Walla Walla Sweets led the West Coast League in attendance, drawing an average 1,451 fans to Borleske Stadium for every game. That average is also good enough to rank the Sweets as the 23rd most attended team in the nation for collegiate wood-bat league teams, and the highest amongst expansion franchises.
